INNER PURITY: THE KEY TO TRUE HAPPINESS.

INNER PURITY: THE KEY TO TRUE HAPPINESS.

ANAND KISHOR MEHTA

Every person in the world is in search of happiness, but very few truly understand that real happiness does not lie in external material possessions but in inner purity and mental peace. As long as our mind is afflicted with negative thoughts, emotions, and bad tendencies, experiencing true bliss remains impossible. No matter how great our external achievements may be, if our heart is burdened with ego, greed, jealousy, and anger, true happiness can never enter our lives.

Mental and Spiritual Ailments – Obstacles on the Path to Happiness

1️⃣ Ego:
Ego is a mental ailment that fills us with self-pride. When a person considers themselves superior to others, humility and empathy fade away. Ego not only ruins relationships but also becomes the greatest obstacle to spiritual growth. Letting go of ego is essential for attaining true happiness.

2️⃣ Greed:
Greed is never satisfied. When we desire more than what is necessary, our mind remains restless. A greedy person compromises their values and loses inner peace. Contentment is the best cure for greed.

3️⃣ Jealousy:
Feeling envious of others' happiness or success is called jealousy. It weakens a person from within and destroys their self-respect. To free ourselves from jealousy, we must develop a spirit of generosity and learn to rejoice in the happiness of others.

4️⃣ Anger:
Anger is an internal disease that destroys a person's wisdom, judgment, and patience. An angry person loses the ability to differentiate between right and wrong and spreads negativity around them. The remedy for anger lies in patience, forgiveness, and inner peace.

5️⃣ Attachment:
Excessive attachment to wealth, relationships, and material possessions is called attachment. When trapped in attachment, a person loses sight of their true purpose in life. Only through self-awareness and wisdom can one break free from the bonds of attachment.

6️⃣ Discontentment:
Discontentment is a mental state where a person is never satisfied with their achievements or current circumstances. This feeling constantly gives rise to new desires, leading to restlessness and a sense of incompleteness. Gratitude and contentment are the keys to overcoming discontentment.

Curing Inner Ailments – The First Step Towards Spiritual Purification

Eliminate ego – Cultivate humility and engage in selfless service.
Cure greed – Develop a sense of contentment and detachment.
Free yourself from jealousy – Practice generosity and love.
Control anger – Develop patience and forgiveness.
Avoid attachment – Engage in self-reflection and self-awareness.
Overcome discontentment – Cultivate gratitude and satisfaction.

To attain true happiness, we must look within and identify the ailments that weaken us mentally and spiritually. It is crucial to understand that happiness derived from external sources is temporary, while the bliss arising from inner purity is everlasting.

"If you seek true happiness in life, start by curing your inner ailments. When ego, greed, and jealousy disappear, the light of the soul will shine, making eternal joy possible."

True happiness is not external—it arises from inner purity. By freeing ourselves from ego, greed, jealousy, anger, and attachment, and through meditation, spiritual gatherings, selfless service, and deep self-reflection, we can attain lasting peace and spiritual fulfillment.

"If you seek true happiness in life, first cleanse yourself of negative tendencies. When ego, greed, and jealousy disappear, the soul's light shines through, making everlasting joy possible."

How do we study consciousness?

The Ocean of Consciousness: Author: Anand Kishor Mehta              Email: pbanandkishor@gmail.com How do we study consciousness? I associate consciousness with the soul, which exists beyond mind and illusion (Maya) in the realm of Pure Consciousness (Nirmal Chetan Desh). The entire universe is connected to consciousness, and our true reality lies within it. Consciousness is beyond our control, flowing from the Supreme Power into our mind and body. The level of our inner awakening (Inner Enlightenment) determines how much of this divine light we can receive. Only a person who attains inner realization can truly understand the nature of consciousness. Relationship Between Consciousness and Intelligence Intelligence is limited to information, while consciousness provides true knowledge. As consciousness evolves, intelligence becomes pure and functions through the senses. Mental growth is essential to attain higher levels of consciousness....
